1965 Born in Lübeck, Germany. Lives and works currently in Berlin.
Since 1979 Experimental sound performances.
1982 Studies trombone at the Musikhochschule Lübeck; workshops among others of: Phil Corner, Vinco Globokar, Albert Mangelsdorf, Ray Anderson, John Cage, Alvin Lussie.
1986-1998 Studies Fine Art, Art History / New Media, Music History, Composition, Sociology and Philosophy, student of Rudolf zur Lippe, Ivan Illich, Umberto Maturana, J.P.S. Uberoi, Gertrud Meyer-Denkmann, Gustavo Becerra Schmidt among others.
Since 1988 Exhibitions
1989 First encounter with Franz Erhard Walther followed by joint performances. Founder of "unerhört" - Verein für Neue Musik, Bremerhaven and Founder of "oh Ton" in Oldenburg.
1989-1992 Assistant of the "Karl Jaspers Vorlesungen zu Fragen der Zeit".
1990 Tutor in Media Arts at the Carl-von-Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg.
1991 Founder of "Edition HORCH" in cooperation with Jens Carstensen.
