Mona Mur
Berlin – based composer, soundddesigner and vocalist, has recorded CDs and performed with artists such as "Einstürzende Neubauten", "The Stranglers", "Yello" and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. She joined the computer games industry In 1999 as lead audio designer and composer for software developer TERRATOOLS, Potsdam – Babelsberg. Here she shaped a unique style of "electronic orchestration" resulting in soundscapes of hallucinatory force and alien attraction. Her works also include music and sound FX for "BALLANCE", ATARI Europe 2004, which was awarded at the "German Developer Award 2004" in the category "Best Casual Game", "Michael Schumacher Racing World Kart 2002", JoWood 2002, "Jan Tenner", KIDDINX 2001. Other works include music and sound FX for the CD-ROM "Berlin Underground", eku interactive 2001, as well as for video art "Health and Civilisation", mediainmotion 2000), animations, installations and films. Three of her tracks are to be found on the soundtrack of director Fatih Akin's worldwide much awarded movie "Head On/Gegen die Wand". Actually she is producing an electronic music score for the upcoming World War II 3rd person stealth shooter SABOTAGE by Replay Studios, Hamburg, released by german publisher dtp end of 2006.
