"LES FEMMES VIOLANTES EN BIKINI"

24-min.Doc.-Film concept and realisation: Ilse Ruppert

for OEIL DU CYCLONE / Canal Plus TV, Paris

....this is a story of violence........ Women are violent, women are bad. They steal and rob you off, they kill everybody in sight with elaborate technics. They are m a d! Shameless living out their sexual fantasies. The Gorilla Queen will show you some tricks!

These dolls are dirty. One woman kills her lovers with her bare breasts. Who wants to  know THE DEVIL IN MISS JONES? Supervixens all over the valleys, Pussycat can't wait to kill. They put your heart in jeopardy and take you for a ride, the She-devils on Wheels. When these girls are lose, run for cover! But nothing is r e a l l y  bad!

These girls drive fast sportscars out in the californian desert and laugh a lot, have fun on the beach and twist in pink bikinis their life away in a world of perpetual summer.

"LES FEMMES VIOLANTES EN

BIKINI"

This is a world were men were men and women were  w e t  dreams.

......but this gives us an insight on how wild, shameless and cruel women were shown on screen in the 50's and 60's in LOW BUDGET Movies. An new Genre popped up:

SEX and VIOLENCE! When producers discovered that SEX sells, directors (Russ Meyer, Herschel Gordon Lewis, Doris Wishman, Roger Corman, Ed Wood jr. etc.) added violence to spice up the suspense and created a social background of urban american environment for their characters. Like this they avoided censorship ratings for sex. These films present radical views of social, political and sexual inequalitites and have served a cathartic as well as poetic function.

All the movies were shot in beautiful colour cinematography and the characters were cleanly dressed in bikinis or tight jeans to show their extreme sexuality and menacing screen presence.
