Dalibor Martinis uses a game with numbers, simultaneously screened by two video projectors, mounted on rotating plates, to achieve the effect of images coming in rapid succession one after the other. Counting becomes a way of marking time, the existence of which is projected onto the walls regardless of uneven or broken surfaces. In addition to time, space is "measured" as well by means of enlarging or deminishing the size of the screened image. the traditional game from Dalmatia, where the players call out the numbers gesticulating with their hands, functions as a link between the author and the viewers who become involved in the game. ...
