... the installation brings to life the motifs of Davor Mezak´s own paintings. All of his videoinstallations up to now have been preceeded by paintings. The footage of a constant flow of water travels across the bed made of roof gutters. The footage is doubled and shown on two tv screen pillows. The duality of action and the use of two (painting and video) prompt the author to resort to quotations of both real and imaginary situations. ...
