Branka Uzur: Born in Zagreb. Lately lives and works between Buenos Aires, Sydney and Zagreb.
Branka studied painting and ceramics in Belgrade (graduated at Academy of Applied Arts) and Helsinki (specialisation- Academy of Applied and Fine Arts); Starts exhibiting in 1974; 1989-1992 Manages Handicraft Promotion Project within United Nation Development Program(UNDP) in Cyprus.
1992 moves to Sydney where continues to paint and exhibits widely solo and in group exhibitions; Works in Collections: Museum of Applied Arts Zagreb ,Museum of Modern Art Zagreb, Gallery of Modern Art Graz; Sydney Town Hall, City of Sydney Art Collection and in private collections in Australia, Brazil,Croatia,Cyprus, Greece, Great Britain,Finland,France,New Zealand,USA
Awards: 1983 Award for young Yugoslav Artists. 1983 Scholarship for specialisation at Academy of Applied and Fine Arts in Helsinki. 1984 Award at " Small Ceramics", Zagreb. 2007 Art Residency at "The Gunnery" studios. Woollooomoolo, Sydney.
